Developed a visual identity for an independent carpentry freelancer, creating a logo and cohesive brand system from the ground up. Defined the brand’s colour palette and typography, then applied the identity across a series of mockups to demonstrate how the brand could come to life across different touchpoints.

The starting point was simple: a logo built around the letter “J.” The client gravitated toward clean, minimalist design, but wanted the identity to retain a sense of the hands-on craftsmanship behind his work. With Hamilton’s strong maker and artisan culture as inspiration, I aimed to create a refined and modern visual identity that brings together simplicity and craftsmanship.
